How group differs from individual therapy
Individual therapy centers on your one-to-one work with a therapist. Group therapy includes other participants and a shared focus, with time and attention distributed across the group. You may be interested in hearing different perspectives or participating in a setting with others. That does not make a group the right choice for every concern or stage of care.
Ask about the group before deciding
Topics, membership, meeting format, and schedules can vary. Ask about the purpose of a current group, what participation involves, and whether an introductory conversation is needed. Jackson’s Jubilee does not list a current group calendar here; a service listing is not confirmation that a particular group is running or accepting members.
